How did you get into commercial real estate?

My mother said I would make a good estate agent!

Who has been the most influential woman in your life?

My mother.

What advice would you give women starting out in real estate?

Embrace the fact that you have natural soft skill sets that deliver up a valuable contribution to the workplace e.g. empathy and emotional intelligence. It will help you to develop strong business relationships as well as recognise those to manage carefully.

This year's IWD theme is Choose to Challenge. What do you choose to challenge or celebrate to help create more inclusion in your community?

We must continue to challenge the routes of access into our industry, we have too much reliance on traditional educational institutions and not enough energy into apprenticeships bringing young women in who would not have thought about property as a career.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?

I have never regarded myself as ambitious.
