Yansy's career journey began over two decades ago at the Bates Company, where she gained foundational knowledge and skills in the real estate industry. Over the years, she has continued to grow and evolve, gaining valuable experience and insights at various prestigious firms.

Her tenure at Lee & Associates provided her with seven years of experience as a Marketing Manager, where she focused on developing marketing strategies and promoting properties within the commercial real estate market.

Following her time at Lee & Associates, Yansy transitioned to Colliers International, where she spent three years as a Marketing Specialist on a retail team. During this period, she expanded her expertise in marketing, particularly within the retail sector, while also delving into new business development and strategic planning.

Yansy's journey then led her to Secured Properties, where she served as a Senior Associate gaining insights into agency leasing and tenant representation. Further refining her skills in real estate transactions, and client representation.

Now, at Avison Young, Yansy specializes in agency leasing and tenant representation in the Greater Los Angeles area, Orange County and the Inland Empire. With her extensive background and diverse experiences spanning over two decades, Yansy is undoubtedly a seasoned professional in the real estate industry, equipped with valuable insights and expertise to serve her clients effectively.

Community Involvement

Yansy's involvement with St. Anne’s in Los Angeles reflects her deep commitment to serving her community. As a board member, she contributes to the organization's mission of providing essential housing, education, mental health, and family support services to over 2,100 families annually across Los Angeles County. St. Anne’s has evolved from a refuge for pregnant young women to a premier social service agency, dedicated to promoting the well-being and resilience of vulnerable mothers and families. Yansy's dedication to empowering individuals and families through her board membership exemplifies her passion for making a meaningful impact in her community.

Yansy also serves as a board member for the Long Beach Community Design Center, a nonprofit offering pro bono design services to underserved communities and nonprofit organizations. The center connects clients with skilled volunteers in urban planning, architecture, and engineering to advance community-driven projects and foster equitable development. Through her board role, Yansy plays a pivotal part in supporting initiatives aimed at community engagement, and helping to drive positive change in Long Beach.

Outside of her professional and philanthropic commitments, Yansy, along with her husband Derrick, fully immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of Los Angeles. They delight in exploring the city's museums, beaches, and diverse culinary scene, always eager to discover new eateries and experiences. Additionally, they cherish traveling and prioritize quality time with their children, as well as their extended family and friends.
