Michael Kennedy is a Principal of Avison Young specializing in brokerage, capital markets and development strategies. Michael analyzes each real estate and development opportunity from the perspective of buyers, sellers and lenders in order to create strategies that optimize property value and return on investment.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Michael led office, hotel, multifamily and student housing planning teams, creating relocation and expansion strategies for corporate office, banking and law firm clients in Dallas, Austin, Washington D.C., Chicago and London. He is a frequent contributor to ICSC RECON, NAIOP, Urban Land Institute, TREC, Dallas Regional Chamber and The Lodging Conference.
