Matt has over 32 years of experience in Sacramento commercial real estate specializing in tenant representation, landlord representation and investment sales. After graduating from college in 1981, Matt went to work for Xerox Corporation where he had a wonderful career and attained President’s Club for every year of his employment. In 1990, Matt took the plunge and “fell into” commercial real estate and joined Grubb & Ellis Company. Matt started fast and never let up while at Grubb and Ellis. In his first year, he was rookie of the year and by his fourth year, he was the top producer in the office. In 1997, Matt left Grubb & Ellis to partner with the top commercial real estate broker in Sacramento, Tom Aguer, and started Aguer Havelock Associates.
Matt represents Fortune 500 companies, healthcare providers, developers, and institutional owners of commercial real estate. He has vast experience in representing tenants in leasing, sales, subleasing, lease buy-outs, land acquisition, build-to-suits, and dispositions. A few of his past and present clients include Foundation Health, HealthNet, eHealth, Western Health Advantage, Sierra Health Foundation and Vibra Healthcare. Since his first commercial real estate transaction in 1990, Matt has represented over 10 million square feet of local, regional, and national office tenants and developers.
A highly devoted family man, Matt shares an active life with his wife of over 40 years, and an amazing, accomplished daughter. In his off time, Matt can be found fly fishing California’s rivers, lakes and Delta, playing basketball or tending to his chrysanthemum garden.
