Mark Birks is a Principal and Head of Residential in Birmingham. Mark is a member of the RICS and a RICS Registered Valuer.
Mark leads on all most major residential schemes within the wider Midlands region. His experience encompasses covers all types of residential development services across a broad range of residential assets and opportunities. Mark has tended to focus more recently on the regeneration of Birmingham City Centre and has dealt with most of the more high-profile projects across the city. He is currently leading on the procurement of development partner for the regeneration of Ladywood, disposing of the Commonwealth Games Village and wider Regeneration of Perry Barr and proving development expertise to the emerging strategy for the Birmingham City Council Investment portfolio. Mark has tended to undertake the majority of the development-led lease re-gears for Birmingham City Council.
Recent transactions of note include the sale of The Square on behalf of King Edward Schools, the sale of 111 Summer Row on behalf of Sytner and the re-gear of Beneficial Buildings on Paradise Street for Birmingham City Council. His current client list includes Cole Waterhouse, University College Birmingham, Birmingham City Council and King Edward VI in Birmingham.
