Marcy Moneypenny joined Avison Young as Principal and Managing Director of the company’s Denver office in 2020.  Marcy has a robust track record of operationalizing smart, service-led strategies which drives the operations, business development and future service offerings for Avison Young Denver.

Everything that Marcy does has an eye towards client service excellence. Marcy’s comprehensive knowledge of commercial real estate coupled with a strong focus on clients’ goals and objectives places Avison Young clients exactly where they should be – in the center of everything we do. Moneypenny brings more than 25 years of commercial real estate expertise partnering with clients representing institutional, global, regional and local relationships as well as management experience leading large, diverse teams.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Moneypenny was with CBRE for 15 years where she served as Senior Managing Director with the firm’s Strategic Account Group as well as CBRE’s Americas Client Care program. In her role, Moneypenny was responsible for partnering with the top twelve markets in the US to ensure seamless execution of client objectives across business lines and geographies. She was also a key part of the Global Client Care team and represented global as well as national clients.

Prior to joining Client Care, Marcy had property management responsibilities for CBRE's Atlanta region, which included a portfolio of approximately 30 million SF of office, industrial and retail properties located in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. Before joining CBRE, Moneypenny worked with national third-party providers including Balcor, Tishman West, Cushman & Wakefield and Hines.

Marcy now serves as the Executive Sponsor and National Advisory Council member of the Avison Young Women’s Network. She is a corporate and local member of ULI.  She is an active member of the Downtown Denver Partnership.
