Clay’s expertise lies in landlord representation for industrial and office buildings in the Tampa Bay market. Clay’s background includes leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, as well as underwriting and marketing over 1.4 million square feet of new development projects.

Clay joined Avison Young in 2013 as Principal-Managing Director of the Tampa office. Prior to joining Avison Young, Clay was Managing Director for Lane Witherspoon & Carswell, and Principal of L&W Commercial Property Management. He grew these companies from 700,000 square feet under management and 4,000,000 square feet of listings to 2,200,000 square feet under management, and 5,300,000 square feet of listings in just over six years. He has over 20 years of experience.
