Tony joined the Capital Markets team at Avison Young after spending his first year out of university as a research analyst at a competing firm. In his current position, working alongside Corey Gay, he is responsible for transaction management, deal origination, underwriting, due diligence, research and preparing marketing materials. Thus far, he has been directly involved in the sale of over 1.2M square feet of retail, multifamily, industrial and office investment properties throughout central and northern Alberta. In his first year at Avison Young he set the company record for the largest first deal ever completed by a new associate. At the beginning of 2020 he was instrumental in securing an exclusive mandate with the University of Alberta for Avison Young to handle all of the University's disposition work.

In his free time he enjoys skiing, hiking, motorcycle racing, cycling and reading. He also has a passion for financial literacy and regularly speaks at local high schools where he discusses basic personal finance and market the book he wrote and published titled ‘Forever Broke’.
