John is a member of the Legal Department in the Chicago office.  John is an experienced corporate, M&A, commercial, banking/finance and international transactions lawyer. John has served in senior positions in government, prominent law firms, and public and private companies including Chief Counsel to the Governor of Wisconsin, Corporate Partner at Michael, Best & Friedrich, and Associate General Counsel of Lands’ End, Inc.

At Avison Young, John provides legal support in the form of advice, counsel and preparation/review of documents in connection with domestic and international growth and investment opportunities, M&A, corporate and commercial transactions and business operations.
