Hugo has 7 years’ planning experience completing an undergraduate in Spatial Planning with TU Dublin, working extensively in the private sector within the Republic of Ireland. Hugo joined Avison Young in July 2024.

Hugo has experience in a range of planning specialisms including residential, development potential research, active travel & transport, public realm, logistics warehousing, and healthcare. This wide range of experience has contributed to related skills in site promotion, research, and Environmental Screening.

This varied catalogue of projects has ranged from site selection, pre-planning, planning applications, public sector Part 8 planning schemes, as well as appeals.

Since joining Avison Young Hugo has expanded his contributed to our continued association with public authorities involved in public realm and strategic infrastructure. He has also contributed to a range of planning applications and amendments in relation to healthcare infrastructure, as well as applications of varying scales for a range of other clients across multiple sectors.
