Andrew Foote serves as Director, Talent Management (Global) at Avison Young, based in the firm’s Irvine office. With more than 17 years of leadership experience across human resources, talent development, and organizational strategy, Andrew is a strategic leader dedicated to fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring Avison Young’s workforce remains future-ready.
In his role, Andrew leads the development and execution of global learning and development initiatives, including leadership programs, mentorship pathways, and scalable, culturally relevant training experiences. He partners closely with senior leadership and HR teams to align talent strategies with business goals, promote employee engagement, and embed diversity, equity, and inclusion into all talent initiatives.
Before joining Avison Young, Andrew served as Vice President of Talent Management at First American Financial, where he created a strategic framework for employee development, led executive coaching initiatives, and advised on succession planning and organizational design. He has also held senior talent leadership roles at Tricon Residential and CBRE, overseeing enterprise learning, engagement, and performance programs across North America and Latin America.
Andrew’s expertise spans performance management, change leadership, organizational development, and workforce planning. His collaborative approach and data-driven mindset have consistently delivered results, from reducing turnover and improving employee satisfaction to building robust talent pipelines that support long-term business growth.
He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University, where he was actively involved in Delta Sigma Pi and various leadership development initiatives.
