Boston, MA – Global real estate advisor Avison Young successfully provided occupier project management services to the Broad Institute, a biomedical and genomic research center, for its new office and lab space located at 300 Binney Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The six-story 224,000-square-foot office building - fully leased by the Broad Institute - was transformed through a complete gut renovation, becoming a state-of-the-art biomedical facility dedicated to research and discovery.

Avison Young Principal and Director of Project Management, Jeanne MacLellan of the firm’s Boston office, led project efforts for the Broad Institute. She managed overall project financials, vendor selection through RFP processes, furniture selection and installation, AV system design and implementation, and interior signage. Jeanne worked closely with the architectural and engineering (A/E) team and the general contractor to ensure seamless execution and alignment with project goals. She also partnered with Broad’s Facilities, IT and Security departments to confirm the design met institutional standards through internal review processes. Under her direction, Avison Young’s relocation team orchestrated the complex relocation and occupancy planning for laboratory, office, chemical, and cold sample moves.
