Chicago, IL – Beth Phillips, Principal and Managing Director of Avison Young’s Chicago office announced today the firm is teaming up with the Women’s Basketball Association (WNBA), as the 2021 Chicago Sky spotlight sponsor.

After taking an unexpected break from playing games in Chicago due to the pandemic, the Chicago Sky is back at Wintrust Arena and Avison Young staff is back in their Chicago and Rosemont offices after more than a year. Both are excited to renew their partnership, which is designed to promote women’s basketball, generate a positive impact amongst Chicago’s diverse and marginalized communities, and create a mentorship program between players and the brokerage community.

“The Chicago Sky is promoting the various businesses to the audience, but we don’t want to just say we support these businesses, we actually want to do it. That’s why this partnership is important. We are excited to team up with Avison Young for another year of basketball and to further their efforts to help businesses within commercial real estate, making a difference for the community we care so deeply about,” said Alex Teodosi, Senior Director of Sponsorship for the Chicago Sky.
