Immediately following his college graduation, Tim Convy began his commercial real estate career in the St. Louis Metro bi-state region in 1979. Since then, he has focused on industrial disposition and leasing transactions, primarily with CBRE in St. Louis, where he operated for 30 years. His major clients included Ford Motor Company, World Wide Technology, Hershey’s, Belden, DuPont, Emerson, Metro/Bi-State Transit, Panattoni Development and Boeing Corporation. In 2016, Convy and his business partners joined forces to establish the Avison Young-St. Louis office.
“Regarding the finer points of commercial real estate, our clients don’t know what they don’t know,” says Convy. “They are busy professionals who rely on us to streamline the transaction process by pre-qualifying buyers and navigating the many details. I enjoy making it easy for them.”
Instead of the typical advertising, Convy uses a targeted approach for locating buyers. He has a stellar reputation for being knowledgeable in closing transactions, accelerating deals, and delivering exceptional service. Born and raised locally, Convy commands an extensive network of contacts stemming from extended family, school classmates, business colleagues, clients and referrals.
In addition to being a licensed real estate broker in Missouri and Illinois, Convy is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). He holds a Bachelor of Science in liberal arts from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota.
