Tim joined Avison Young in February 2023 as Principal, Senior Vice President and Practice Leader, Investment Valuation and Advisory, Canada. With more than 15 years of industry experience, Tim has earned a strong reputation as a trusted advisor and business partner who excels in the underwriting, valuation and appraisal of larger scale income producing commercial real estate assets, including office, industrial, retail, multifamily and mixed-use buildings. Throughout the span of his career, he has been involved in the valuation of over $50 billion in real estate assets across the country as both a fee and non-fee appraiser, and as part of the acquisitions team for a large Canadian realty advisor. In his current role, Tim leads and manages the Canadian Investment Valuation business for Avison Young which services some of the country’s top Canadian Investors.
Prior to joining Avison Young, Tim held progressively senior roles with Colliers – most recently as Executive Director, Valuation & Advisory Services within the Greater Toronto Area. While there he managed a top producing team of appraisers and handled many large national valuation accounts. He also spearheaded the quarterly cap rate report, was a moderator and panel member on webinars and has been quoted in the Financial Post.
He is a results-oriented team leader who has exceptional communication skills and solid problem-solving ability. His work is delivered on time with a high degree of client satisfaction.
