Jeffrey (“Jeff”) Burger is a Principal and Executive Director of Financial Consulting at Avison Young’s New York City office. He leverages his real estate expertise and analytical background to support office leasing transactions. With over twenty years of experience in commercial real estate, Jeff continues to expand the depth and coverage of the Financial Consulting Group in New York.

Utilizing robust market data and comparable transactions as the foundation of every analysis, Jeff works directly with Avison Young’s clients to deliver customized, executive-level analyses and presentations for each assignment.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Jeff served as a Director of Financial Analysis for The Vortex Group, a boutique real estate advisory company specializing in office leasing. While there, he was responsible for the formation and implementation of strategic real estate solutions for leasing transactions in the New York City metropolitan area. He represented and worked with real estate entities including multinational REITs, institutional investors, real estate funds, private building owners, managers and tenants.

Recent assignments Jeff has worked on include BDO USA, LLP, CI Financial, HighTower Advisors, Hospital for Special Surgery, Transit Wireless, McLaughlin & Stern LLP and Amster Rothstein & Ebenstein LLP. In addition, he has assisted in the leasing of numerous Manhattan office buildings, including 530 Fifth Avenue, 825 Seventh Avenue, 211 East 43rd Street and 123 William Street.
