Chris Lydon, Principal, recently joined Avison Young to focus on industrial brokerage services while helping to enhance the company's capital markets capabilities. In a career spanning over 25 years, Mr. Lydon has acted as a broker, owner and developer within the Industrial Real Estate industry. As a commercial real estate industry veteran, Mr. Lydon’s expertise includes working with Corporate Users and Institutional Owners within the Chicago marketplace as well as nationally. A  member of SIOR, the Chicago chapter of the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE) and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Mr. Lydon has represented an array of institutional owners and tenants including Sears Holding Corporation, Seefried Properties, Liberty Property Trust, Panattoni Development, Wirtz Realty Corp., Invesco, 3D Exhibits, Prologis and Morgan Stanley. During his career, Mr. Lydon has been involved in transactions in excess of 100 million square feet with an aggregate value of over $900 million dollars. As a result of his performance, he has established himself as a consistent top producer within the marketplace.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Mr. Lydon served as a Senior Director for Cushman & Wakefield’s Chicago office, as a Senior Vice President and Industrial Brokerage Leader at Grubb & Ellis Company and as a Vice President and Marketing Director for AMB Property Corporation prior to their merger with Prologis.
