Brian Bellew is a senior executive with more than thirty years of broad-based experience in all facets of corporate real estate, including driving global portfolio strategy, account management, project management, transaction delivery, integrated facility management and outsourcing initiatives.

Brian is the global leader of Avison Young’s 275+-member Occupier Solutions practice, with responsibility for growing the firm’s corporate services and delivering best practices to our hundreds of occupier clients and account teams.

At Johnson Controls (2005-2015), Brian led the real estate portfolio strategy group, advised a major JCI business unit and oversaw the successful sale and delivery of consulting assignments for clients, including Agilent, Delta Air Lines, Hewlett Packard, IMS Health, LSG Sky Chefs, Otis Elevator and Sealed Air Diversey.  Prior to joining Johnson Controls, Brian was Vice President at USI Real Estate (1991-2005), where he established the firm’s Chicago office and began its tenant representation, strategic consulting and transitions/operations practices.  While at USI, Brian led the launch, improvement and expansion of multi-million-dollar real estate alliances for clients, including American Express, Charles Schwab, Computer Sciences Corporation, Manpower, Motorola, T-Mobile, Ryder and United Technologies.  Prior to joining USI, Brian was an Associate with Trammell Crow’s corporate services group, where he led a highly successful internal marketing program.

Brian’s professional skills have been complimented by thought leadership and an entrepreneurial approach that have helped grow service delivery platforms through team business development, strategy, account enhancement and recruiting. Brian has written and edited numerous articles for a Boardroom quality CRE publication with a circulation of 20,000, and more recently co-edited a book on entrepreneurship.
