Benjamin Temple is a Senior Associate on Avison Young’s Investment Sales team focusing on commercial properties and development land throughout British Columbia. Since 2016, he has been a key resource in completing over $1.5 billion transactions that includes the sale of office buildings, hotels, industrial properties and development sites. Benjamin focuses on advising businesses, private investors, developers, and institutional clients on the acquisition, disposition, and valuation of various property types.
In 2018, Benjamin received Avison Young’s Ted Avison Award for his involvement in the sale of a portfolio of gaming and leisure properties. The company-wide award recognizes an outstanding and innovative transaction that has complete alignment with the client’s objectives.
Prior to joining Avison Young, Benjamin gained extensive underwriting and credit structuring experience working through over a hundred transactions with two leading real estate lending institutions. Before working in the debt side of the business, he was an Investment Analyst for a Toronto based real estate private equity fund assisting in acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management.
