Avison Young managed the design and ground-up construction of the new General Motors dealership that included a full subterranian service center and rootop parking structure, in addition to an expansive sales floor to showcase the latest Chevrolet models. Beyond the extensive permitting, structural and technical coordination of a project of this nature, an undocumented aquifer was discovered underground that challenged the team to engage extreme dewatering strategies for the successful execution of the project.
