Global commercial property advisor, Avison Young, has moved into Capital&Centric’s Goods Yard neighbourhood in Stoke-on-Trent, taking the entire Pavilion building and relocating its Stoke-based Customer Service Centre.

Social impact developer, Capital&Centric, has converted the former industrial site into something completely different for Stoke-on-Trent’s business scene. The bustling neighbourhood is taking shape at pace, with Avison Young being the first commercial business to commit to taking space at Goods Yard and a mix of bars, eateries and coffee shops like Glaze Café Bar, Panko & Sushi and Cotton, have now followed suit and set up shop.

With a new direct link to the neighbouring Stoke-on-Trent main line rail station, Goods Yard, is also fast becoming the city’s hottest place to live, with over 115 of the 175 apartments already rented and demand going through the roof.

Goods Yard will have plenty of spaces for people to hang out during breaks with a vast new public spaces, incorporating a lawn, lush plants and shrubs and a winding footpath leading to the courtyard gardens, with over 70 trees and stacks of new plants.

With commercial spaces ranging from 1,200 sq ft to 14,000 sq ft across The Vaults, Signal Box on Glebe Street, the new build Pavilion, and the industrial-style units on the ground floor of the apartment building, Goods Yard is quickly shaping up as the city’s place to be.
