Global commercial real estate advisor Avison Young has announced the appointment of a new Director in its London Place Advisory team.

Jasmine Ceccarelli-Drewry joins the business to strengthen its Place Strategy offering. Working directly with clients across the private sector and multi-asset public sector, Jasmine’s expertise will see her evolving Avison Young’s strategy offer, integrating social impact from the outset.

She arrives at Avison Young following three years at Montagu Evans, as part of the Strategic Advisory team, where she founded and led the Social Impact Consultancy offer for the business, advising clients on embedding social impact throughout the development lifecycle.

During her tenure, Jasmine delivered social impact strategies for projects including the Whitechapel Life Science Cluster and Yoo Capital's Saville Theatre, while also serving as the Co-Chair of the Real Estate Balance Next Gen Committee, a position she still holds.

Prior to her work at Montagu Evans, Jasmine spent over two years as an Area Regeneration Officer at Hackney Council and played a key role in shaping public sector strategy and policy.

Jasmine will take this expertise into her new role at Avison Young, embedding delivery strategy and supporting engagement and planning processes across multiple sectors including life sciences and innovation.

Jo Davis, Principal and UK Executive Chair at Avison Young, said:
“Jasmine’s appointment is part of a wider focus for Avison Young. Being able to advise on social impact is crucial for our clients to help them futureproof in today’s world.

“Social impact can be a vital driver of place-based regeneration, and Jasmine’s role gives us a real competitive advantage to help our clients create meaningful, long-term value through placemaking.”

Nicola Rigby, Head of Place Strategy at Avison Young, added:
“Jasmine is a rising talent, and we’re thrilled to have her join the London Place Advisory team, bringing her wealth of social impact experience to a client-facing role that will directly shape our Place Strategy offering.

“I’m very much looking forward to seeing the impact that Jasmine has within the team, integrating her robust approach to social impact from the outset.”

Jasmine Ceccarelli-Drewry, Director, Place Advisory at Avison Young, added:
“I’m delighted to be joining the London Place Advisory team at such an exciting time for the business, bringing my experience in social impact to the fore to help shape the Place Strategy offer for our clients.

“Working alongside my new colleagues, I’m looking forward to supporting both public and private sector clients to deliver meaningful, place-based change through social impact advice that’s fully aligned with wider project objectives and Avison Young’s strategic, development, and planning expertise.”
