Avison Young welcomes three Ontario-based leaders to its 2025 Principal Class

Nolan Adkin, Adrian Fitz-Gerald, and Shannon Sawicky join Avison Young Principals guiding the course of leading global commercial real estate firm

Toronto, ON – Avison Young is pleased to announce that Nolan Adkin, Adrian Fitz-Gerald, and Shannon Sawicky have been named Principals based in the firm’s offices in Toronto and London, Ontario.

Adkin, Fitz-Gerald, and Sawicky join 15 other Principals honoured as part of the Avison Young 2025 Principal Class. Avison Young is a Principal-led, people-first, private firm with approximately 700 Principals across the globe. These Principals are industry leaders who embody the Avison Young collaborative culture, partnership ethos, and client-first mentality.

Adkin has been with the firm’s Southwestern Ontario office, based in London, for five years and, as a sales and leasing broker, specializes in the London, Windsor and Sarnia corridors. He provides strategic advisory services across various asset classes, including industrial, office, retail, and investment properties.

Fitz-Gerald joined Avison Young in 2022 and is based in our global headquarters in Toronto. As National Director of Human Resources for Canada, Adrian sits on the global human resources leadership team and leads the HR function nationally, responsible for driving our human capital strategies through succinct partnerships with all our business lines and centers of excellence.

Sawicky started at Avison Young’s Toronto office in 2016 as a Junior Valuation Consultant. She has since grown her career to become Director, Valuation & Advisory Services. Sawicky has extensive experience across all commercial asset classes in Canada and has specialized expertise in dispute resolution and litigation, appearing in numerous market rent arbitrations as a qualified expert witness.
