Avison Young markets Regency Medical Campus in Ohio

Chicago, IL – Avison Young today announced it has negotiated the sale of a three-building 110,780 square-feet (sf) class A medical office complex at 1000-3000 Regency Court in Toledo, Ohio.
Avison Young’s Mike Wilson and Erik Foster, Principals based in the firm’s Chicago office and members of the national healthcare capital markets team, along with Avison Young’s Cleveland healthcare brokerage expert, Chris Livingston, represented the seller, Barone Enterprises.
The buyer was Global Medical REIT.
“The Regency Medical Campus offers mission critical care facilities strategically located in a heavy residential area with great access to a large surrounding patient base and four major hospitals,” said Wilson. “These institutional quality facilities mitigate investors capital exposure and presents a stable investment with entrenched tenancy and easily accessible locations,” added Foster.
The facilities offer significant improvements and fixtures imperative to the care offered, specifically a comprehensive surgery center (11% of total portfolio square feet) which several tenants utilize for their specific practice. The facilities include extensive exam rooms, numerous physician and patient amenities and well-appointed waiting and treatment areas.
Regency Medical Campus is centrally located near Anne Mercy Hospital, Promedica Toledo Hospital, Flower Hospital in Sylvania, and The University of Toledo Medical Center.
The Toledo area has an extensive and highly regarded health care system and the tenants currently in the medical complex provide an array of services enhancing the trend of growing technology and research in the medical field.
