Austin, TX – Avison Young today announced the appointment of Erin Morales as Principal and Managing Director of the firm’s Austin office. Morales has led a very successful career spanning more than two decades in brokerage services with a focus on corporate occupiers in the technology sector.
“Erin has been a force in Austin’s commercial real estate market for more than 22 years, with deep-rooted experience in strategic real estate planning,” said Juan Bueno, Avison Young Principal and U.S. President. “Her dynamic leadership style and her expertise of the region’s tech industry and other fast-growing companies align perfectly with the Austin office and its growth trajectory.”
Avison Young’s Austin team offers commercial real estate services across an array of business lines, providing strategic advice to occupiers, owners, and investors to help them realize their business goals.
Prior to joining Avison Young, Morales served as Senior Vice President with CBRE, where she was a founding member of its Technology & Media Practice. The niche specialty group is focused specifically on solving the growth and real estate needs of tech and creative companies.
“I have been impressed with both the strategic direction that Avison Young is taking and the people centric culture at every level of the organization,” stated Morales. “This firm has a clear vision of where the commercial real estate industry is going and more importantly, how to get there. I look forward to contributing to Avison Young’s success and to cultivating and expanding our client base in the Austin area.”
Morales will succeed Corey Martin, Principal, who will remain with the firm and focus his efforts on his brokerage services, specifically investment sales and land acquisition and disposition. Martin has successfully overseen the growth of Avison Young’s Austin business for nearly four years, garnering both top-tier talent and clients for the organization.
“I am excited to have Erin join us as she brings great technology and innovation industry experience while allowing me the opportunity to focus on my brokerage expertise,” shared Martin. “Avison Young’s growth and development call for a consultative and creative approach to provide our clients with broad-based, strategic solutions customized to fit their business goals.”
