Las Vegas, NV David Jewkes, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the firm’s Las Vegas office announced today the strategic hiring of Jayne Cayton as Principal and Matt Kreft as Vice President in the firm’s Las Vegas office. Together, they specialize in delivering value to landlords in the leasing, disposition and marketing of office, medical and mixed-use buildings, as well as providing execution strategy for clients’ real estate investment opportunities.

“Jayne is a highly regarded professional in the greater Las Vegas market, who will help us build our institutional agency leasing and capital markets strength,” said Jewkes. “She and Matt are a perfect addition to our team in Las Vegas, which has a depth of experience serving the needs of reputable property management and investor clients.”

Cayton and Kreft join Avison Young from Cushman & Wakefield. Cayton brings more than 22 years of experience and most recently served as Senior Director in agency leasing and tenant representation at the firm, which she joined in 2015. She has worked across sectors with organizations such as Angelo Gordon, HInes, Buchanan Street Partners, and KBS, among others.

Kreft brings nearly 20 years of extensive office and medical market experience to Avison Young. He began his commercial real estate career with Grubb & Ellis in Las Vegas in 2004. He later partnered with Cayton in 2013 at Voit Real Estate Services and continued their partnership at Cushman & Wakefield, focusing on professional office and medical office sales and leasing, with an emphasis on agency representation and financial analysis.

"The move to Avison Young was natural for Matt and myself because of the firm’s culture of collaboration and its entrepreneurial approach to client services and solutions. This is a company that is powered by people and they work together to make things happen,” said Cayton. “Avison Young has its finger on the pulse of cutting edge technology platforms that expand digital engagement with clients, and we are excited to grow its market share in Las Vegas and work with our new colleagues in the Avison Young family.”
