Laef Barnes joined Avison Young as a Vice President in December, 2015 as a member of the Capital Markets Group. Laef recently left, along with his business partners, a competing commercial real estate firm in San Francisco to form a new investment team at Avison Young.

Laef focuses on Investment Sales throughout the Western United States, where he has completed over $130 million in transactions. Laef has successfully represented a number of high-net worth individuals and institutional clients for acquisition, disposition and 1031 exchange assignments.

Before joining Avison Young, Laef worked as an investment sales broker at Arroyo & Company where he worked on a variety of asset types including retail shopping centers, single tenant NNN, office and multifamily.
