John’s career to date has included time as Consultant Architect, Design Manager, Construction Manager, Client and consultant Project Manager. In these various roles John has been actively involved in almost all market sectors and delivery approaches; John’s project credits include work and delivery in Retail, Residential, Commercial Offices, Industrial/logistics, Leisure, Hospitality, MOD and public realm. He has experience in both public and private sector development and been actively involved in speciality elements such as major utilities, infrastructure, Rail and tall buildings.

John studied, qualified and commenced his career as an Architect, later migrating into Project Management after spending an extended period managing multiple design teams while on secondment to a major developer Client.

John has more than 30 years of industry experience, the last 15 years of which as part of the senior management team at and currently head of Avison Young Project Management. He is passionate about his work, investing in people and maintaining a hands-on role in everything he does.

John’s project credits and ongoing work include but are not limited to 74 St James, One Hyde Park, One Kensington, Fitzroy Place, Battersea Power Station Phase 3, One Nine Elms, Aykon London One (Damac Tower).
