Piers has over 16 years experience advising a variety of clients in the London and South East office markets. He joined Avison Young in June 2016 from Capita where he was Head of Office Agency; prior to this he was a Director at Jones Lang LaSalle and a Partner before that at King Sturge. He specialises in the South East market acting for funds, developers, investors and property companies as well advising across the occupier spectrum from large global occupiers to small start up companies acquiring their first office space.
Recent projects include the pre-let acquisition of the 90,000 sq ft Copyright Building in Central London and the 25,000 sq ft acquisition of the Second Floor at V3 in Basingstoke in 2016 for Capita PLC. He recently disposed of space in the 60,000 sq ft 401 Grafton Gate in Milton Keynes for Picton Capital and he also provided the occupational advice on the purchase of Avaya House, Cathedral Hill in Guildford for Europa Capital and Ediston, 3 Longwalk Stockley Park on behalf of CCLA and 54 Clarendon Road in Watford for Canada Life.
High profile schemes Piers has advised on in the past include, The Heights in Weybridge (350,000 sq ft) for M&G, Ruskin Square in Croydon (9 acre mixed use development) for Stanhope and Schroders, CB1 in Cambridge (500,000 sq ft of office development) for Brookgate, and Arlington Square in Bracknell for Goodman.
He also has extensive tenant representation experience having acted for a number of occupiers including Thales, Network Rail, O2, Orange and Brewin Dolphin
