Based in Toronto, I am a dedicated professional and community builder focused on creating healthy, equitable, and resilient communities. With nearly two decades of senior leadership and real estate industry experience, I am committed to engaging with diverse audiences to future-proof investments and mitigate risk.

An accomplished and agile strategist, my focus has included shaping growth, innovation, marketing, and sales initiatives, targeting sustainability, community benefits, building performance, and public policy. I am known to be a high-energy, hands-on team builder and have been an active representative at board, executive and industry association levels.

I bring with me extensive experience leading sustainability-focused initiatives across Canada including building the business case for green communities and buildings in lockstep with market and stakeholder engagement. All while developing and delivering various educational offerings, both in person and virtually for post-secondary institutions, industry events & conferences.

Past Experience

As an industrial designer, entrepreneur, active citizen, and troublemaker I’ve worked with leading businesses, investors, developers, institutions & governments to excite them about creating, living, working, and thriving in healthy sustainable buildings.

Knowing that business could be done a better way, in 2006 I co-founded EcoAmmo with Stephani Carter & Andrea Pelland. EcoAmmo is a for purpose, all women, Edmonton based project management firm, focused on high performance buildings, incorporating pragmatic social, environmental & economic sustainability into every project. www.ecoammo.com

In 2017 I ran for City Council of Edmonton's Ward 11 and finished in the top three in my ward with a platform rooted in the Sustainable Development Goals and triple bottom line principles to build a better city. www.edmonton.ca

In 2018 I joined View Dynamic Glass, as a Sales Executive focused on wellness, the internet of things, and high-performance buildings. www.view.com

In 2019 I joined the Canada Green Building Council’s Green Business Certification team where I established a persistent customer-first approach while developing strategic partnerships and relationships with industry and government. As part of the senior management team, I oversaw the planning and execution of marketing and sales strategies, business development and key account management, while supporting research, policy development and consultation.
