Stephen R. Cook

Steve Cook joined Avison Young as a Principal in 2011. As a member of a leading brokerage team, Steve’s primary focus is representing corporate clients based in New England who have local, national and international commercial real estate needs. As the “single point of contact,” Steve provides his clients with services including strategic site selection, opinion of value assessments, lease negotiations, financial analysis, lease vs. buy comparison, comprehensive lease audits, build-to-suit expertise, subleasing, buy outs and consulting.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Steve spent over 15 years with Grubb & Ellis where he was consistently named to Grubb & Ellis' Circle of Excellence recognizing the company's top producers. Additionally, Steve was annually honored as one of the top three brokers at Grubb & Ellis' Boston office. He was also appointed to Grubb & Ellis’ President’s Council, the company's premier symbol of achievement bestowed on a select group of professionals who have consistently demonstrated a commitment to service excellence, teamwork and the advancement of the company and the real estate industry.

Steve is also very active in his local community with charities with his support of the Concord Business Partnership, Concord Carlisle youth sports, Nashoba Learning Group, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Lupus Foundation, and several breast cancer research charities.

Steve also coaches the hockey teams of his three sons and serves on the Concord Carlisle Youth Hockey board.
