Rand joined Avison Young with over two decades of experience in the commercial real estate industry. During his career, he has provided clients with tenant representation, leasing, general brokerage, development and acquisition services. His specialties include leasing, sales, development, investment property and project finance.
Prior to joining Avison Young, he was with Studley as a Managing Director and Mohr Partners as Managing Partner. He began his business career with the IBM Corporation and later transitioned to the real estate industry with the Trammell Crow Company. After leaving Trammell Crow Company, Rand co-founded InSite Realty Partners, a commercial development firm, and Blackstone Partners, a boutique tenant representation brokerage firm, where he served as Managing Partner.
Rand has been involved in millions of square feet of client related transactions. His unique perspective as an owner/operator of real property combined with his experience as a broker makes him a valuable resource for his corporate clients.
In 2002, Rand served as the President of the Houston Chapter of the prestigious Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) as well as being a Board member of the Houston Office Leasing Brokers Associations (HOLBA).
