Rand Stephens

Industry leader, Rand Stephens joined Avison Young in June of 2010 and opened the Houston office as Managing Director. Since that time, he has grown the office to be one of the leading full service brokerage firms in the Houston market. Houston Business Journal recently named Avison Young as #15 on their 2013 List of Top 25 Largest Brokerage Companies. In addition to growing the Houston office, Rand is an accomplished broker, investor and developer. His unique background is invaluable to his clients in providing them with profitable real estate solutions.

Prior to joining Avison Young, he was with Mohr Partners as Managing Partner where he was recognized as the firm’s Co-Managing Partner in 2007. He began his business career with the IBM Corporation and later transitioned to the real estate industry with the Trammell Crow Company.  After leaving Trammell Crow Company, Rand co-founded InSite Realty Partners, a commercial development, brokerage and property management firm where he served as Co-Managing Partner. 

Rand has served as the President of the Houston Chapter of the prestigious Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) as well as being a Board member of the Houston Office Leasing Brokers Associations (HOLBA).

Rand is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Dartmouth College.
