Karina Sondek

Karina joined Avison Young in March 2000 as Corporate Accountant for the Ontario offices.  In October 2005, she moved to the Property Management operations of Avison Young where she worked as Manager of Property Accounting for two years.  In September 2007, she left Avison Young to join an Asset Management company in Toronto, as Controller.  In that role, she was responsible for managing the accounting department and financial reporting on various funds to pension fund clients.  In December 2009, she returned to Avison Young.  In her current role as National Controller, she works closely with the CFO on corporate financial reporting as well as overseeing the accounting of the Ontario brokerage operations. Karina is a Certified General Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University.
