Project Manager

We are currently seeking an Owner’s Representative Project Manager in our Boston office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage project team from initial workplace strategy to project closeout, and all elements in between • Attend regularly scheduled project meetings including design, procurement, construction and logistics to ensure open collaborative engagement and communication between all stakeholders • Perform site walk through inspections of all project programs to insure accurate schedule management. • Manage communications on behalf of the owner with all stakeholders for each project including Architect, Engineers, Contractors throughout the design, development and construction phases of the projects • Provide best-in-class client centric service, delivering quality projects on time and on budget • Prepare project budgets and project schedules • Track savings opportunities and cost avoidance situations for client documentation • Collaborate with and professionally communicate with clients and the AY team. • Manage the RFP process for design, construction and relocation professionals on behalf of clients • Coordinate and manage the installation of furniture, fixtures and equipment • Provide move management services • Support multiple projects simultaneously at various stages at any one time


• Proficiency in Excel & Microsoft project required • Comfortable with Microsoft office suite • Exceptionally well organized, with time, budgets • Self-motivated and self-organized • Ability to work in a fast paced environment. • Attentive and responsive: anticipate needs and take action • Good at multi-tasking and comfortable with fast pace • Comfortable with change and doing things in new and innovative ways

Professional qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering is a plus • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience • Solid understanding of construction industry, terminology, codes, documentation, and design disciplines • Ability to read, understand and apply construction standards and plans • Ability to manage project meeting either onsite or via conference call with clients, contractors, vendors and other stakeholders
