Construction Project Manager

Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for taking a project from conceptual budgets through construction close out and final billing. Extensive knowledge of estimating, scheduling, budgeting and value engineering. Coordinate RFI process, bid-out, negotiate and award all sub contractors. Monitor project for safety, and scheduling conflicts. Handle all change orders, requesting accurate documentation.

Coordinate the field work with a superintendent to maintain the project schedule. Manage the project budget and be the liaison with clients. Provide leadership and direction to Project Superintendent and other staff.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project and have the ability to read and understand architectural and engineering plans.

Desired Skills and Experience

College degree in related field of Construction Management or Civil Engineering with a minimum of 3 yrs experience in commercial construction. Ground up experience a plus and must be familiar with CM software, including, Microsoft Project, and excel.
