Charlie Neuhaus, a Principal at Avison Young, has demonstrated throughout his career a remarkable and comprehensive understanding of the trends and influences of the commercial real estate industry, both locally and nationally.
Prior to joining Avison Young, Neuhaus started the Houston office of Johnson Development Associates, Inc. During his four years with the company, he continued his corporate services activities while handling development, management, leasing and disposition activities of JDA assets and aggressively pursuing acquisition and development opportunities in Houston and the Western U.S.
Before his work at Johnson Development Associates, Neuhaus was Senior Associate, Corporate Advisory Services with Trammell Crow/CB Richard Ellis Real Estate Company where he had a successful career as a tenant representation professional. There he represented Office and Industrial real estate users in negotiations, and was part of a five-person team generating millions of dollars in production. A sample of his clients include VMware, Automation Technology, Tidewater, TYCO, Intel, Dashiell Corp., EC Source, SCM Properties and YUM! Brands.
Mr. Neuhaus was also previously a market representative for ProLogis, actively marketing 9.5 million square feet of industrial warehouse space and completing approximately thirty lease transactions on behalf of the company.
Starting his career as a business sales consultant for Dell Computer Corp., gave Neuhaus an enhanced business acumen and cultivated his consultative and problem solving skills. During his three years at Dell he achieved top quarter in sales every year and an impressive top 5% in sales in his last year all while constantly being voted a Dell Team Player award recipient.
Neuhaus, an active member of his community, is a board member for Bo’s Place Bereavement Center; a Vestry member at St. John the Divine Episcopal Church; an active volunteer for Junior Achievement and an advisory board member of the Neuhaus Education Center.
