Professional Experience
Larry has had extensive involvement in all facets of the commercial real estate industry in the Winnipeg market, including the management and development and redevelopment of heritage properties in the downtown core.
Prior to entering the commercial real estate industry, Larry operated a garment manufacturing company with facilities in Winnipeg, Montreal and the Far East. His company became a leading supplier to the largest retail outlets in Canada, United States, Germany, Switzerland, and Norway. More recently he successfully redeveloped 329 Cumberland from a manufacturing building into “Designers Walk” - a destination for the Winnipeg home industry.
As President of the YMHA, Larry helped to formulate and develop the Rady Jewish Community Centre and the Asper Campus, serving 15,000 members.
As an original and long standing member of the Winnipeg Downtown BIZ, Larry was instrumental in establishing the “Downtown Watch” — a program that has been emulated in many other North American Cities.
