Professional Experience  

Prior to joining Avison Young, Robert was the owner and broker of Mycom Group Inc., a commercial real estate services company based in Winnipeg for 17 years.

Previous to his career in real estate, Robert was employed with the Government of Manitoba in the “Sport” field and was responsible for elite athletes, coaches and officials, coaching development and “Games” activities (i.e. Canada Games).

• Literacy: Presently a board member and vice chair of Stevenson Britannia Adult Literacy Centre Inc.
• Sport: Former National Team Coach. Coached two national championship teams. Team of the Year honours by Manitoba Sportswriters & Sportscasters Association.
• Social: Has been involved with the Lifer’s Program at Stony Mountain Penitentiary and Olive Branch — a non-profit organization committed to assisting those less fortunate, with a focus on women’s issues.
• Rotary: Rotarian since 1996. Past president of the Winnipeg St. James Rotary Club. Active in World Community Service.

Robert is married to Olenka, a graduate Interior Designer (Faculty of Architecture (B.I.D.), University of Manitoba)
