Matt Walker began his career with Avison Young in 1995 following graduation from the University of Western Ontario. He spent the first several years of his career representing Landlords, giving him first hand knowledge of the private, public and institutional Landlord decision and financial analysis process.

Since becoming a Principal at Avison Young in 2001, Matt has focused exclusively on representing BC based companies. The experience Matt gained early on in his career, representing Landlords has enabled him to provide exceptional tenant representation advice and service to his clients.

Matt has concluded significant lease and investment sales transactions in all major markets in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.
