Professional Experience 
Bernard Poliquin was named President of Avison Young Canada's Quebec operations in January of 2009. He is a Principal of the firm and serves on the National Executive Committee.
Prior to joining Avison Young, Mr. Poliquin was Managing Director, New South Wales, at Jones Lang LaSalle Australia where he oversaw the operation of the firm's eight offices with 400 employees in Australia's largest state from November 2006 to December 2008.
Based in Sydney, he led the brokerage and management operations of the firm which included Investment Sales, Leasing, Property Management, Industrial Sales and Leasing, Tenant Representation, Project and Development Services, as well as Valuation Services.
From January 2003 to November 2006, he was President of Jones Lang LaSalle's Canadian operations after three years as Managing Director of the firm's Montreal operations.
He also held senior management and transactional roles with Trizec Properties and Bell Canada's real estate affiliates.
He started his career with Dupont Canada as a research and development scientist.
