Professional Experience 
Norman has been a Calgary resident since 1957. He was trained and employed as an accountant for seventeen yeas prior to commencing his real estate career in 1983. He joined Graeme Young & Associates in 1986 (now Avison Young Commercial Real Estate [Alberta]) and became a partner in 1990. Throughout his real estate career, Norman has devoted his efforts to leasing and selling industrial land and buildings. Highlights of Norm’s real estate activities include the sale of over eighty industrial buildings both for investors and owners-users; the sale of a fifty acre industrial development site; and the sale of a fifty-five acre industrial subdivision. Norm is one of the more knowledgeable brokers in Calgary regarding the industrial market, and is often asked by major users and investors to provide his expertise, and to assist them with their industrial projects.
