Professional Experience 
Alex Hertz joined Avison Young’s Capital Markets Group in Atlanta as a Vice President in July 2010. Most recently, Mr. Hertz formed Locke Property Investments in June, 2005 which purchased and redeveloped $60MM of residential and retail projects. Prior to forming Locke, Mr. Hertz was the Director of Acquisitions for WP Realty in Bryn Mawr, PA where he was responsible for sourcing and underwriting $300MM in retail development for WP’s Fund III. Mr. Hertz also served as Assistant Vice President for TriMont Realty Advisors in Atlanta, GA. At TriMont he was directly responsible for the re-development and disposition of CRE assets in Lehman Brothers’ $1.2B REO portfolio. Mr. Hertz has 13 years experience in commercial real estate and possesses multi-disciplinary skills across major product lines of office, retail, multi-family and mixed-use properties.
